Overview The motto of the Gay Games includes "personal best," and for many athletes, their personal best will be rewarded with a Gold, Silver or Bronze Gay Games Medal.
At this Gay Games, athletes who win medals that day will be able to receive their medals that evening downtown in a celebration attended by athletes, coaches, officials, cultural participants and spectators. (For some sports, there might be a ceremony at the site of the competition, with a more elaborate ceremony the evening of the Medal Ceremony downtown.)
