Who is the sanctioning body for Figure Skating?
Ice Skating Institute (ISI) is the sanctioning organization for Figures Skating.
Where will the Figure Skating competition be held?
The Figure Skating competition will take place at McFetridge Ice Arena. McFetridge is well maintained by the Chicago Park District, and has been used as a training facility by championship skaters.
What will the standard of the competition be like?
Competition will range from beginner to world-class levels, with participants bracketed according to level. In accordance with the Gay Games principles of Participation, Inclusion and Personal Best, there are no qualifying standards. Participants of all levels are encouraged to participate.
Will I be able to play in more than one sport?
There are no strict policies against competing in another sport, however individuals are highly discouraged from doing so, as schedules for sporting competitions will most likely conflict. If a participant registers for more than one sport, they do so at their own risk.
