Part 2: Sport/Culture Participation Fee starting at $35 per
activity
Chicago 2006 introduced a new registration fee structure to the Gay Games
designed to fairly represent the costs of managing each sport or cultural
event. All participants will pay the same base registration fee and the balance of the fee will be determined by the participant’s
selected sport or cultural activity. Participation fees start at $35 for most events (see below for full list).

Sport/Culture Participation Fee
Your Sport/Culture Participation Fee varies from sport to sport. To complete your registration, you must pay both parts of the fee - the Registration Fee PLUS the Participation Fee.

Refund Policy
Registration fees will be refunded 100 percent for those sports or cultural events which, at any time, are cancelled or rescheduled to more than 2 days from the event date established at the time of your registration, provided your written request for a refund is received by us on or prior to April 15, 2006. Refunds may also be given if your are on the waitlist for an entry in your sport and are unable to obtain an entry. Refunds for credit will be issued to the credit card account that appears on your registration or a check will be mailed to the address that appears on your registration. Refunds will not be made for any other reason.
