Hundreds of volunteers from across the globe will offer their time, expertise, enthusiasm, ideas, hard work and dedication to the Gay Games effort between now and July 2006. Whether you live in Chicago, Paris, Johannesburg, Sydney, Mexico City, Tokyo or Sao Paolo, or if your country is Germany, New Zealand, the Philippines or Russia -- in short, anywhere in the world -- you are invited to volunteer and play an important role in making Gay Games VII a huge success. Get Involved Now! Volunteers can get involved in a number of current projects including: planning, fund-raising, special events, marketing, sports administration, public relations, international outreach, cultural programs, office administration, and technology, to name a few. We welcome you to take on smaller tasks or to get involved in larger-scale projects and planning. Below are listed some current opportunities for volunteers. Street Team - volunteers are needed to visit sports events, leagues, bars and other locations to distribute Gay Games information to potential participants. Contact us for more details. Hundreds of volunteers will be well trained to smoothly manage and staff the competitions, cultural events, information and technology centers, foreign language services, medical and security stations, media hubs, special events, and the myriad of activities and special needs.
