Update - 31 October 2005
Ceremony, Chorus Directors Selected

Arts and culture will permeate every aspect of Gay Games VII and the centerpiece will be the Official Cultural Program. Comprised of four "participatory" events, the Culture Program provides an opportunity for artists and performers from all over the world, a chance to come together to achieve their personal best. In addition to their own special events, band, cheer teams, chorus and color guard will be featured at the Opening and Closing Ceremonies and will be woven into the fabric of the sports events throughout the week.

To participate in one or more of the four events making up the Official Cultural Program, you will register using the Two-Part Registration & Participation Fee system like the athletes. Participants will pay the base registration fee, and the balance of the fee will be determined by the participant’s selected activity. Participation fees for all Cultural Program components are $35. Each cultural participant will receive all of the benefits of registration, including a participation medal.

We are especially thrilled to welcome Cheer Teams and Color Guard as official cultural events for the first time in the history of the Gay Games.

Details regarding each event are available by selecting one of the links to the left. Registration for individuals for the Cultural Program is available online. Groups or teams of 5 or more are eligible for a team or group discount - $50 reduction in registration fees per person. This discount will expire 15 December 2005. For more details regarding the team/group discount, call (773) 907-2006 or email info@gaygameschicago.org.
